Terms of Use
1. Operator
TalkingBridge is operated by TalkingBridge. Contact: support@talkingbridge.cc.
2. Acceptance
By using TalkingBridge, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. Service Scope
TalkingBridge provides AI-assisted communication features, including Emotion, Smart, and Conflict tools, user history/sync, optional streak/reward features, and optional paid subscription features.
4. Eligibility
You must comply with applicable laws and platform terms (including Apple App Store rules). You are responsible for device/account security and your own content.
5. AI Output Disclaimer
- AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or contextually wrong.
- No legal, medical, therapeutic, emergency, or financial advice is provided.
- You are responsible for your final decisions and messages.
6. Subscriptions, Billing, Promo Codes, and Rewards
- Paid features are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions via Apple In-App Purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings after purchase.
- Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Pricing and billing terms shown on the App Store purchase sheet control.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple policy and applicable law.
- Restore Purchases restores eligible purchases linked to your Apple account.
- Promo codes/reward grants can activate Plus or Pro for a fixed duration and may expire or be limited by usage rules.
7. Acceptable Use
You must not use the service unlawfully, submit illegal/harmful content, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer, bypass limits/security controls, automate abuse, or disrupt service operation.
8. User Content and License
You retain ownership of your content. You grant TalkingBridge a limited license to process your input and generated output strictly to operate, secure, and improve service reliability, including sync, anti-abuse, entitlement, and troubleshooting operations.
9. Availability and Termination
Features may change or be suspended for maintenance, legal, security, or anti-abuse reasons. Access may be terminated for policy violations.
10. Warranty and Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent allowed by law. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
11. Third-Party Services
Service operation depends on third-party providers (for example Apple, Cloudflare, Firebase/Google, AI providers, and email delivery providers). Availability and behavior may depend on those providers.
12. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Updated terms are posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

Privacy Notice
1. Data Controller

2. Data We Process
- Account identity: email address, first name, last name, display name, phone number when phone sign-in is used, auth provider/session state, and passkey credential metadata.
- Profile and social data: username, profile photo, profile settings, friends/besties state, moderation/report counts, device-session labels, and optional live location sharing records.
- User content: text, images, audio, support messages, feed/profile submissions, and AI-generated outputs you request through Emotion, Smart, Conflict, feed, profile, and support flows.
- Subscriptions and rewards: StoreKit subscription state, Apple offer-code redemption state, restore-purchase state, promo/reward grants, and streak reward status.
- Usage and sync state: streak progress, usage counters/limits, saved drafts/state snapshots, sync payloads, and account security settings.
- Technical and support diagnostics: push tokens, device model/name, OS/app version, background-refresh and thermal/battery state, optional push diagnostics, and other troubleshooting metadata you choose to include in support flows.
3. Why We Process Data
- Authentication, account security, passkeys, supervision, and account recovery.
- AI feature delivery, response generation, feed/profile/social features, calls, and live sharing features you explicitly use.
- Sync, reliability, abuse prevention, moderation, and service integrity.
- Purchase entitlement checks, subscription restore flows, Apple offer-code redemption, and reward/streak processing.
- Customer support, troubleshooting, and issue follow-up when you contact support or forward an unresolved in-app support request.
- Optional sponsor-supported rewarded ads after consent for sponsor boosts. TalkingBridge does not request App Tracking Transparency permission for this flow.
4. Infrastructure and Processors
Data may be processed through providers used to operate the app, including Apple services (App Store/StoreKit), Google/Firebase (authentication/sign-in), Google AdMob for optional rewarded ads, Cloudflare Workers + D1 + KV (backend, database, cache/sync), AI model providers (for text generation), and email delivery providers used for account/support messages.
5. Data Sharing
Personal data is not sold. Data is shared only as needed to provide service functionality, enforce limits/security, process purchases/entitlements, and comply with law.
6. Retention (Current Operational Defaults)
- AI response cache: emotion up to 30 days; tone/rewrites/conflict up to 14 days.
- Smart memory session cache (KV): up to 7 days.
- Debate dedupe cache: approximately 60 seconds storage TTL.
- Passkey challenge: 5 minutes maximum TTL, then invalid.
- User activity touch throttle key: 15 minutes.
- Promo/reward grants and streak records: retained in database while needed for entitlement/state integrity, abuse prevention, legal/accounting needs, or until deleted per policy/request.
- Profile identity/photo sync and device-session records: retained until replaced, deleted, revoked, or no longer needed for account operation.
- Support tickets and optional diagnostics: retained while the support issue remains active and then as needed for audit, abuse prevention, or legal/accounting follow-up.
7. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries where the service providers operate. We use provider safeguards and access controls appropriate for service operation.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational controls appropriate to service risk, including request authentication, scoped storage, bounded payloads, and anti-abuse controls. No system is absolutely secure.
9. Your Rights
Depending on local law, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and complaint.
10. Account/Data Deletion
You can start account deletion in-app or contact support from your account email. Some records may be retained when legally required or strictly necessary for fraud/security, abuse prevention, and billing integrity.
11. Children
TalkingBridge is not intended for children where prohibited by law or platform policy. If you believe a child submitted personal data, contact support.
